The tape feels very thick, but the strength is very poor, the shelf life is very short, and obvious aging will occur after being placed for about half a year. The surface will be brittle and easy to break.

General sealing tape glue is acrylic glue, also known as pressure sensitive adhesive, the main component is tincture. Tincture fat is a kind of polymer activity material, temperature has a certain effect on molecular activity. The tincture content of the glue directly affects the use of the tape. Many individuals think that the sticky tape is good for the glue, but this is wrong. There are two standards for the quality of the glue of the tape in use, one is the initial adhesion and the other is the retention force, which are inversely proportional. Generally speaking, the adhesive tape with initial adhesive force lower than No.10 is less coated with glue, generally only about 20 microns, such as stationery adhesive tape and adhesive tape for ordinary promotion binding. The initial adhesive force of normal sealing tape is between 15 and 20, and the thickness of this tape glue is generally 22-28 microns. Is in line with the standard thickness. However, most of the tapes on the market are mixed with impurities, so the thickness increases. In order to shield impurities, the glue is also mixed with toner, so the transparent tape appears egg yellow and light green. This tape is generally inferior.

How to distinguish between good and bad for colored tape? For colored tape is to facilitate marking and masking purposes, generally beige and khaki more. Many people think that the color of the tape is the color of the film, but the color is the color of the glue. Pinch the adhesive tightly and then pull it apart quickly. You can pull off one side of the adhesive and you can see the purity and transparency of the original film. * It is important to see the thickness of the glue. If there is no glue to be pulled apart or point-like, there is a large amount of impurities in this glue, and the glue has no cohesion. Second, there is too much water and it has volatilized. At this time, the initial adhesive force of this adhesive tape has decreased greatly and the hand feeling can be distinguished. The yellow tape is coated on the object, the better the masking, the thicker the glue, the better the quality. Under the comparison of the appearance of the tape, the glue is less, the color of the whole roll of the doped tape is very deep, and the light transmittance of the tape is high after being pulled apart. The color of the whole roll of good adhesive tape is not much different from that of the one after being pulled apart, because the good sealing adhesive tape has strong concealment and there is no color superposition. Inferior adhesive tape doped with high quality should apply impurities to BOPP film only by adopting a relatively backward direct gluing method, so there are often cases where large impurity particles are not completely dissolved and there is a sticking knife, so the adhesive tape is often striped in use (where there is no glue one by one). Good adhesive tape adopts the method of soft cut transfer and gluing, and there is no line situation (the situation of ink leakage and less printing on the printing tape is related to the printing press). Another way to distinguish is to look at the surface of the adhesive tape. When the adhesive tape is divided into finished products, there are bubbles. After being placed for one week, the bubbles will basically disperse. The surface of the adhesive tape of pure tincture grease glue is smooth and clean without any white spots. The tape mixed with impurities has many irregularly distributed white spots, which cannot be dispersed by hand, which is different from bubbles.
